Shiitake Mushrooms are carefully selected and dried at low temperatures to maintain high quality levels. They are packaged in a protective atmosphere in order to keep all their crunchiness and properties unaltered. The quantity of dry Shiitake Mushroom inside the package is ideal for giving a daily intake of Vitamin D and allows the preparation of a recipe, avoiding waste.

Inside a sachet of dried Shiitake mushrooms there is the 185% of the VNR * of vitamin D!

* VNR = Nutrient Reference Values, they indicate the amount of vitamins and minerals that a person should take to meet the minimum daily requirement. For Vitamin D it is equal to 5 μg.

How to use

Sliced dried mushroom:
Soak it in water in order to rehydrate the mushroom and give it back its original shape and texture. To speed up the process, it is possible to use hot water for 15 minutes. If used as an ingredient in soups and other recipes that require a long cooking, mushrooms can also be added without soaking. See all our recipes.

Dried mushroom in granules:
To be combined 5 minutes before the end of cooking. It can be used in the creaming phase or simply by blowing it in a pan with a fat of your choice (eg EVO oil).

Suggested use

Risotto, soups, pasta, fish, meat, vegetables, potatoes, etc.
